Hybrid-electric lift + cruise for EMS
German EMS eVTOL programme from ERC System. Charlie C700 is ERC's planned crewed, hybrid-electric lift-and-cruise aircraft for interhospital patient transport, with the same cabin layout supporting passenger and logistics missions. It builds on two full-size, full-mass demonstrators: Echo (first flight 2023) and Romeo, the uncrewed demonstrator (2,735 kg, 16 m wingspan) in flight test since November 2025 at ERC's Erding flight test facility.
