ET9
Compound-wing prototype; eight lift props, pusher planned
EVT Aerotechnics (Yiweite), now headquartered in Hangzhou, is developing the ET9, a compound-wing eVTOL for one pilot and four passengers with a 500 kg cargo version. EVT's September 2026 release lists up to 2,400 kg MTOW, up to 240 km/h cruise and 240 km range, with distributed redundant propulsion and a whole-aircraft parachute. The prototype first flew freely on 31 March 2024 and EVT reports more than 800 test flights. It is not type-certified: EVT targets certification of the cargo version by end-2027 and the passenger version in 2028–2029. A June 2024 TC-application acceptance has been reported but not confirmed. Aonj is the chosen avionics supplier. No price or battery capacity is published; the nearly 1,000 intent orders are non-binding.
