LE200
Compound-wing engineering prototype
Lanyi Aviation (Range Aviation) of Hefei, founded in 2023 by former COMAC engineers, is developing the LE200 "Yao", a compound-wing passenger eVTOL with 8 lift and 2 push propellers. The official site lists 15.7 × 9.8 × 4.8 m, 2,600 kg MTOW, 600 kg payload, 150–320 km range, 200 km/h cruise and 1 pilot + 2–5 passengers. The full-scale prototype made its first untethered flight on 22 March 2025 at Hefei's Bailong airport test base; in 2026 it flew above 100 km/h at a high-altitude airfield and completed transition-phase flights at 100–140 km/h. CAAC accepted its type-certificate application in April 2025. Lanyi targets TC in June 2028 and deliveries in December 2028. Not type-certified; no price or battery capacity published.
