Eight-motor carbon/aluminium ultralight
Skytech's X1 is a single-seat multirotor eVTOL built on a welded 7075-aluminium frame with a carbon-fibre shell. It has eight motors and propellers on four arms and can keep flying if one motor fails. Skytech lists an 80 km/h max speed, 100 kg rated payload, 250 kg MTOW and 80 kg empty weight excluding batteries. It flies about 20 min on two solid-state packs and up to 40 min on four, covering 25–50 km. A parachute and airbag are optional. The factory price is US $50,000, built to order in about 15 working days in Dongying, China. Skytech says it is not certified for public transport and is meant for recreational and research use. Not type-certified.
