Compound-wing, all-electric. Official site name: Matrix 1.

Vertaxi (Shanghai) M1 is a five-seat compound-wing all-electric eVTOL. The official site calls it Matrix 1. Vertaxi lists a design range of 250 km and a cruise speed of 200 km/h. MTOW is a 2–2.5 tonne class; published sources do not agree on one figure. Payload of up to 700 kg was shown at the AAM Expo. The M1 made its maiden flight in October 2023 and a transition flight in July 2026 at Yancheng. An M1 Air Ambulance, with Ruijin Hospital, was shown at the 2026 AAM Expo in Shanghai. CAAC accepted the airworthiness application in 2024. It is not type-certified. Manned certification is targeted around 2028. Max speed, battery kWh, empty weight, charge time, ceiling, noise, a type-certificate date and a price are not published. This is a programme, not a retail aircraft.
