X2
Two-seat eight-rotor flying car
XPeng AeroHT's X2 (the maker is now called Aridge) is a two-seat, enclosed-cockpit multirotor eVTOL with a carbon-fibre airframe. XPeng lists 560 kg empty weight including battery, 200 kg max payload, up to 35 min endurance, a 130 km/h max speed and a design altitude below 1,000 m. It first flew in June 2021. In January 2023 it became the first manned eVTOL in China to receive a CAAC special flight permit, for R&D test flying. XPeng called it a stage exploration product. Aridge now lists it as a past model, and its current product is the Land Aircraft Carrier. Range, price and a delivery date are not published. Not type-certified.
